New month, new self-challenge! Looking to strengthen your core? 🙋♀️ #FBPCoreChallenge "Stop, Drop & Plank!" starts Monday, March 1st! It's simple. Every day this week, just #stopdropandplank for 10 seconds before 10am. Starting week 2, we'll plank every other day and add 10 seconds each time. We’ve got 31 days this month! Using the first week to set the habit and base, that leaves 24 days to a stronger core! And guess what? Planking every other day & adding 10 seconds each time takes your 10 seconds to 2 minutes by the end of the month! 💥 Pro Tip: Form is always most important, for safety and effectiveness! If you are fatigued to the point of strain or form collapse, stop your plank - rest and reset! Continue only when you're ready to complete your total seconds for the day, resting when needed until you hit time. Already a plank pro? Great! Try a new variation of plank that ups your challenge! Plank jacks, shoulder taps, hi-lo planks, 1-leg up planks...let's have some fun with it! *Aim to master a continuous 1-minute classic plank first before adding variations*
